Our service department is one of the most important parts of our business. In 2008 we showed our commitment to providing a good service to our customers by re-investing in building a more modern and efficient workshop. Today our service department is one of most modern to found in this county. Each of the nine work bays a has its own hydraulic lifts and is kitted out to John Deere specification for diagnostic tools and equipment. All our six workshop technicians attend John Deere training school in Nottingham UK and also a Distance learning course (DLC) which is an on line computer based training course giving our staff instant service in- formation. All the technicians have constant updates and training throughout the year. We also have the great advantage of a com- puter based John Deere DTAC system (Dealer Technical Assistance) which links our dealership direct with John Deere Factory Tech- nicians. This helps our dealership technicians solve faults on machines without even seeing the machine.
Call outs, our team of qualified technicians are on call and ready to respond to emergency call outs in a very quick time frame.
Service Maintenance plans. We offer a complete maintenance plan to suit your needs and budgets. We can estimate the service cost of a machine over a specified number of years. Professional customers can tailor a finance package to suit your needs. For new equipment, we can combine purchase price with maintenance plan prices. Many customers have found a huge cost saving for taking out a maintenance plan with us.
Installation Certification. All new machines must have a PDI (Per delivery inspection) to make sure all machines are fully assem- bled, tested, checked for oil, fuel etc. before delivery to the end user. On hand over to the customer our staff will give a demonstra- tion of how to use the machine correctly and also go through the maintenance side with the operator. We then sign off on the in- stallation with the customer getting an installation certificate. We have fully trained personal in machinery installation and all train- ing is set by BAGMA UK.
